Definition:
Paypal is the most recognised system for sending and receiving money
over the Internet. It’s as easy and indicating that you want to send
money to a recipient, entering your Credit Card or Debit card details,
and clicking send.
To
send and receive money, you need to sign up for an account on PayPal,
which takes about 10-15 minutes and that’s if you read all the fine
print. People that are very active on eBay use
PayPal as a very good system to speed up the money exchange transaction
– it literally takes seconds to move money.
To
send money, this is how it works (in simple terms):
- You
enter your details, method of payment and amount to send along with the
persons email address that you’re sending to (they need to have a PayPal
account or will be asked to sign up for one to get the money..but it’s
all free.)
- You
simply hit send and an email notification goes to the receiver and
PayPay waits for the receiver to log-on and select how they would like
to receive the money.
- The
receiver logs on to PayPay, accepts the money and designates the money
to go to their bank account, sent out by cheque or put on a Credit Card.
-
PayPal
charge certain percents and fee’s for transactions however they are
quite low.
